It was an honor to work beside Silvia for 11 years. We fought so many battles together, and won them all! I learned so much from her. I loved the rare quiet times in the office, when she would reminisce about her life in Cuba, her early years in New York City (she drove a cab!), and her amazing history in the theatre. Silvia was a rare combination of great artist and astute businesswoman. She changed my life and made me a better person. I’m sorry I’m not feeling well, so I can’t be there in person tonight, but I will watch the stream. ¡Abrazos a todos!

Inmensa en su pasión por el teatro, inmensa en su visión y compromiso para crear un movimiento teatral en español en un enclave hispano tan importante como Queens, inmensa en su generosidad para respaldar el talento de nóveles actores, músicos, intérpretes, escenógrafos, etc. Muchos, muchos, tenemos tanto que agradecerle a Silvia Brito.
