Flamenco Amigos Helping Thalia is the second part of our new campaign to help our organization and our artists in these troubled times of the Covid-19 pandemic. Because we had to cancel this year’s flamenco production in our theatre, We want to share our wonderful 2019 show of LAS BACANTES FLAMENCAS, a FLAMENCO music & dance adaptation of Euripides’ “THE BACCHAE”
Directed and adapted by GEORGIA TSANGARAKI; with Danza España, artistic director YLOY IBARRA.
Special guests VICTORIA “LA GRIEGA” KOKIZZA (dancer) & GEORGIA TSANGARAKI (actress);
Dancers-singers SOL “LA ARGENTINITA”, YLOY YBARRA, AURORA REYES, GISELLE ASSI, ANA MARIA DELGADO, RYAN ROCKMORE & DINORAH CRESPO; guitarist RAPHAEL BRUNN and percussionists ALDA REUTER & WALID GUZMAN.
